Scope and last update
Last updated: October 27, 2026. This policy describes how the animedoll.ca editorial website handles personal information. The site does not provide visitor accounts, an online purchase checkout or public comments. It is an information and referral service for adults.
We aim to collect no more information than is reasonably needed to display pages, protect the service, answer emails and operate store redirects. If our hosting or analytics setup changes, we will update this page.
For more detail, see terms of use.
Information you send voluntarily
If you email hello@animedoll.ca, the message may include your email address, name if supplied, the page being discussed and any details you choose to share. We use that information to respond, investigate corrections or handle appropriate editorial and partnership enquiries.
Please do not include payment credentials, identification documents or sensitive personal details that are unnecessary to your question. We do not need credit-card numbers to review a price correction and cannot manage a retailer’s order.
For more detail, see contact the editors.
Technical logs and security
A hosting company, domain service or content delivery network may process technical information such as IP address, browser user agent, request path, approximate timing and security events. Such logs can help deliver pages, diagnose errors and defend against abusive traffic.
Log retention, access and any processing outside Canada depend on the providers and settings we use. Questions about technical logs can be sent to hello@animedoll.ca.
Store redirects and third parties
When a visitor selects Visit store, the browser passes through a short redirect link on this domain and then reaches an independent merchant. The merchant may have its own cookies, analytics, purchase forms and privacy policy. Our site cannot control what a third-party checkout collects after the visitor leaves.
A redirect may involve technical request information and referral attribution. The exact data passed to a store depends on how the redirect and the store’s own tracking work. A referral does not give animedoll.ca access to the purchaser’s retailer account.
Analytics and cookies
animedoll.ca does not currently use optional analytics cookies. Basic hosting and security processing can still occur. If non-essential analytics or marketing tracking is enabled later, we will update the policy and obtain consent where required by applicable law before using it.
We do not claim that every external merchant uses the same cookie rules. Users should read the separate notice displayed by each store. We review the site’s cookie use whenever we add a new service.
Canadian privacy framework
Canada’s federal private-sector privacy law, PIPEDA, can be relevant to commercial organisations’ collection and handling of personal information. Quebec has its own modernised private-sector privacy requirements commonly referred to as Law 25. The exact application of these rules depends on the organisation and its activities.
This page is a practical privacy notice, not a substitute for legal advice. We intend to honour applicable access, correction and deletion rights, subject to legitimate retention requirements.
Access, correction and deletion requests
For questions about editorial emails or a request to delete a message, contact hello@animedoll.ca and identify the relevant correspondence without sharing unnecessary new personal data. We may need minimal details to locate the information and ensure the request is genuine.
We can address information we control but cannot delete records held by a merchant after a user chooses to visit it. Contact that store under its own policy for account, purchase and checkout data. We may update this notice when practices or legal requirements change.
